According to trending reports, Paris Saint-Germain's superstar Kylian Mbappe is allegedly raking in an eye-watering annual loyalty bonus that is a staggering 10 times his monthly salary.
Following the expiration of his previous contract at the Parc des Princes, Mbappe came very close to signing for Real Madrid last summer.
He turned down a transfer to the Spanish club, though, and decided to remain in Paris until the summer of 2025.
The 24-year-new old's contract elevated him to the status of one of the game's most formidable players. Mbappe reportedly received substantial cash rewards in addition to a say in the club's decision-making.
The French international's new contract with PSG appears to include the big annual loyalty bonus. It is understandable why Les Parisiens wanted to keep him around.
He holds the club record for goals scored with 202 in 251 club games across all competitions.
After scoring eight goals in Qatar, Mbappe also took home the Golden Boot trophy at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Didier Deschamps recently appointed him captain of France, making him the youngest captain in the annals of Les Bleus.
